Did Crist's support for Greer cause the Diaz-Balart Brothers to withdraw their endorsement?

Florida's Crist loses support of 2 key GOP congressmen

WASHINGTON — Miami Republican Reps. Lincoln and Mario Diaz-Balart have pulled their endorsement of Gov. Charlie Crist for the U.S. Senate, dealing his campaign a significant blow in South Florida.


Lincoln Diaz-Balart in a phone interview Tuesday offered few details, just that Crist had "left us no alternative and he knows why.'' ...


During the past month or so several stories have been written about the fact that many in the RPOF have called for Jim Greer to resign because of his bias for Gov Charlie Crist...


Earlier this week RPOF chairman Greer said that Charlie Crist told him not to resign.

Perhaps emboldened by Crist's support, Greer fired his detractors and sent out an odd letter justifying his actions.

Perhaps the Diaz-Balart brothers told Crist they would withdraw their support if he did not tell RPOF chairman Jim Greer to resign!
