Video:Marco Rubio's Closing Argument. A Generational Choice

I guess this may be one of the last posts I produce on this site. It has been an honor and a pleasure to provide updates and information to those who support Florida senatorial candidate Marco Rubio. I hope I have helped you in deciding to vote for him.

I first heard of Rubio in early 2009 and was fortunate enough to be attending a conference in June of 2009 where Rubio spoke to a large crowd of attendees about his vision for Florida and for the entire nation. He was basically a newly minted candidate and was way behind in the polls. He overcame the opposition with fresh ideas, principles, integrity, and the message that America is an exceptional nation that deserves the kind of leader that will preserve it's greatness.

Please take the time to listen to Rubio's closing arguments. My next post will be to announce his Victory in the 2010 Florida race. Then I will move on to 2012.

Thanks for visiting.

Video: Marco Rubio's Innovative Idea to Decrease the Debt

From Marco Rubio Campaign

RUBIO: “The second idea that we had is allowing and empowering individual every day Americans and businesses to specifically go after the debt themselves through their own tax returns.

“What does that mean? It’s pretty simple. You put a check-off box at the top of everyone’s tax returns. If you check that box off, you can designate that up to 10 percent of your tax dollars – the money you’re paying that year in taxes – go directly to debt retirement.

“Two things would happen. Number one: that money you’re designating is now protected from spending. In essence, politicians in Washington are not going to be able to get a hold of that money and use it to grow government. It must be used to pay down debt.

“But the second thing it will do is send a very powerful and clear signal. Imagine what would happen if millions and millions of Americans checked that box off. I can guarantee you that congressmen and senators are going to check out how many people from their state checked that box.

Video: Marco Rubio Speaks to Republican Jewish Coalition

This is the video of a major speech by Marco Rubio at the Republican Jewish Coalition on June 10th in Delray Beach Florida.

Rubio stresses the need to stand with Israel without equivocation or hesitation.

It's a very powerful presentation and typifies Rubio's belief in a strong National defense and America's history of support towards Israel.

Rubio deliberately and justifiably defends Israel's right to exit and offers his unwavering commitment  to those that support it.

Video: Marco Rubio Discusses Gulf Oil Spill with Larry Kudlow

Florida senatorial candidate Marco Rubio explains his position on "oil drilling" off the coast of Florida.

It's obvious that Rubio is concerned about what caused the disaster. He is more concerned about stopping the leak.

He is taking a pragmatic approach in the sense that he is saying --First we have to stop the leak!--Then determine what caused it!-Then decide about the future of offshore drilling in Florida.

Rubio stresses that he is in favor of drilling.

Tapping the resources available to the United States should be our priority. We must avoid being dependent on foreign oil until "alternative energy" is proven, affordable, and available on a mass scale. Otherwise we could damage an economic system that already seems to be on life support.

Video: Rubio Weighs in on Crist's Decision to Keep the Cash

Rubio:
This is not about some principled person who left the republican party because the party was going in a direction he didn't like. This is about someone who unfortunately, with all due respect, is looking to extend his political career and figured out he could not do that through the republican party.

Marco Rubio: Charlie Crist Will Not Debate Me

From Myfoxorlando
...Marco Rubio talked to Fox 35 about his close race against Crist; his thoughts on unemployment; healthcare reform; illegal immigration and several other issues...
What caught MY attention is something that that I have posted on several times. Rubio has been calling for debates for months and months. Rubio has asked for debates again and again! Why is a seasoned politician and sitting Governor afraid to debate a former House Speaker? Maybe he can't decide what he believes in or even knows.

Here is the FOX video along with a short transcript:

Reporter: How will you draw a contrast between you and Charlie Crist?

Rubio: Well that is why I want to debate him. He won't agree to debate me but that's why I want to debate him so that those contrasts become clear.

Marco Rubio: I am NOT a Tea Party Senator-I am a Republican

During yesterdays interview with Florida senatorial candidate Marco Rubio, CNBC's Larry Kudlow continued to associate Marco Rubio (R) to the "Tea Party" movement.
Even going so far as to call him a Tea Party Senator. The exchange takes place starting just before the 4:20 mark of the video below.

Kudlow: ...as a Tea Party Senator how would you deal with it?...

Rubio: ...Let me back you up on that for just a second. When you talk about the Tea Party- I am a Republican.

There is a growing trend in the MSM to vilify tea party goers as extremists, radicals, birthers, racist and the list goes on.

I am none of the above and I attended the 912 March on Washington. I was there because I do NOT want big Government, higher taxes, and government health care. I was joined by about a million other Americans that feel the same way. I was not paid to be there and neither were they.

I was there to support freedom.

Marco Rubio is NOT a Tea Party senator or candidate. He is a republican that believes in the principles of the founding Fathers. IF some of those principles are reflected by the Tea Party movement, then so be it. You can't paint with a broad brush when trying to define the Tea Party movement.

Here is what Marco Rubio DOES support about the Tea Party movement.

Video: BBC America Profiles Marco Rubio

Here is the video of BBC America following conservative Florida senatorial candidate Marco Rubio. The title sort of jumps out at you in a good way:

BBC America: Marco Rubio, The Great Right Hope

Crist voted FOR the stimulus before he voted AGAINST It

From National Journal

Gov. Charlie Crist (R) appeared via satellite on the "Situation Room" 11/4 p.m.

Crist, on whether he regrets endorsing the economic stimulus package: "I didn't endorse it. I didn't even have a vote on the darned thing. But I understood that it was going to pass and I wanted to be able to utilize it for the benefit of my fellow Floridians. ... Frankly, I kind of look at it like Florida taxpayers' dollars coming back to the state to benefit them. ... We've go to fight for Florida first. That's all we did here."

Crist, on the picture of himself and Pres. Obama hugging that Ex-state House Speaker Marco Rubio's (R) has on his website: "I think it's important to understand where we were at that time. That was back in February, less than a month after the president was sworn into office, the first time he visits our state. And I was pragmatic, I think, about what we needed to do. Everybody knew the bill was going to pass. I, like all other Republican governors, utilized that money for the benefit of the people in my state. And that's what a pragmatic conservative does. ... And I think it's important to understand that you need to fight for jobs, you need to fight for the economy, do what you think is right for the people."
This is one of those stories that just makes you wonder how stupid politicians think the people are. Hey Charlie!!!!! Ever hear of youtube????

You not only endorsed it, you praised it!!!! You said it is important to pass the stimulus package ... in a bipartisan way..

And just as expected, Marco Rubio responds quickly with his own version of the events. Classic just Classic.

UPDATE: Even Beltway Bob at the Whitehouse knows Crist supported the Stimulus Bill:

Video: Marco Rubio on Your World with Neil Cavuto

Here is a video of  Marco Rubio's appearance on Fox' "Your World" with Neil Cavuto.

Rubio corrects Cavuto's info on current polling data and states that the Republican Party should be the home of  conservatism.

Rubio says, "Republicans are tired of being told that they have to somehow be more like democrats in order to win elections. And I think that this campaign is going to prove that that is not true."

Video: Marco Rubio Interview on MSNBC Morning Joe

Florida conservative candidate Marco Rubio appeared on MSNBC's Morning Joe today. There were some interesting exchanges between the "hosts" and Rubio.

Dan Senor: All of the Washington Republicans are supporting Crist and I think it is going to blow up in their faces!

Rubio: I think what is going on is that people are tired of apologizing for their principles.

Video:Marco Rubio Attends "Happy Hour"

Marco Rubio appeared on Fox News' "Happy Hour" program today.

His interview was very informative in the short time he was allowed. It is refreshing to hear a person who knows what he believes in and does not avoid the answer by trying to change the subject.

It's easy for Rubio because he believes in the principles that represents and he is not willing to change them based on popular opinion at the time.

Video: Marco Rubio at Candidate Fest explains why he is running

Marco Rubio answers the question, "Why are you running?"
"Because I think America is the single greatest civilization in human history. I believe that everthing that has made this country great is being threatened by the direction that this leadership would take our country..."

Newest Marco Rubio Campaign Video "7 Days to Go" 09/22/09

Marco Rubio needs our support to allow him to challenge Charlie Crist in the upcoming race for Florida senate.  Every little bit can help Rubio continue his battle to promote conservative values and represent them in Washington. That is what we need!

The Democrats use incrementalism to advance their agenda and it's time Repulicans do the same by supporting Marco Rubio for Florida senate.

We don't get many chances to vote and we certainly do not get many chances to vote for a true conservative. Especially for the US senate. This is YOUR chance to make it happen.

Video: Marco Rubio says, "Principles are Not Negotiable"

In less than a minute, Florida's conservative senatorial candidate Marco Rubio is able to define the difference between himself and his moderate opponent Charlie Crist.

"Principles are NOT negotiable!"

Charlie Crist bases his decisions on the mood of the day and could care less about the results as long as they serve his bid for election to US senate.

Marco Rubio has stayed the course of his core conservative beliefs. You will not have to "guess" what Rubio stands for as he has remained consistent in his conservative beliefs throughout his career.

That is the kind of candidate that we need and can trust to serve Florida in Washington.
